fifty-three illustrations (more than half of them full-page) and six maps
(including the large, folding, colored map of Eastern Central Africa). In a
modern binding of three-quarter morocco and marbled boards, new endsheets,
but retaining the original half-title page. Contemporary previous owner's
lengthy inscription on the verso of the portrait; large folding map with a
several-inch closed tear extending out from the stub; a Very Good copy.
