Brentano’s [1920]  4to original gray illustrated 
paper boards, silver designs, cream-colored cloth 
back, spine gilt; cover label. Illustrated 
endpapers, top edges gilt.  (151) pages.  Spine 
darkened, crown of spine broken, edges of the 
boards worn.    All page edges untrimmed, very 
clean within. The first American edition, from 
Nisbet’s British sheets printed by 
Whitefriars.  #234 (239?) of 675 copies for sale 
in the United States of America. With all ten 
inserted plates, captioned tissue guards. A nice 
reading copy, or
binding copy
.the endpapers are not cracked.  $350.00
