Plates. Vol. III [only]. Hydraulics – Naval Architecture. Philadelphia: Samuel 
F. Bradford et al. N.d. (circa 1820). Lg. 4to. Profusely illustrated with 
approx. 300 copper engraved plates (many folding). Full cont. sheep, quite 
rubbed, hinges cracked but holding, red & black calf spine labels, front cover with 
an old burn mark, top of spine chipped. Most of the plates are foxed & a few 
browned (as usual, due to uneven paper quality).     $300.00 (trade discount 
allowed)
Plate Volume 3 (of 6). Subjects of plates include hydraulics (16), iron 
manufacture (8), magnetism (7), mechanics (46), sheet music & musical instruments 
(47), and naval architecture (14 – all but one are large folding). Note: we 
also have available Plate Volumes 2 & 4 at $250 each.
