SHAW, George Bernard. FABIANISM AND THE EMPIRE: A MANIFESTO BY THE
FABIAN SOCIETY. London: Grant Richards 1900. First Edition. Though
listed as editor on the title page, Shaw actually wrote the entire
text. Laurence A41. Four thousand copies were printed and bound in
wrappers. "In February 1908 the Fabian Society authorised the bind-up
of 189 copies, stripped of their soiled wrappers, in quarter green
buckram, brown paper boards, lettered in black; top gilt." This is
one of those 189 copies. Fine $250.00
