BUKOWSKI, Charles. CRUCIFIX IN A DEATHHAND. New York: Lyle  Stuart
(1965).  First Edition. Quarto. Designed and quite elaborately printed
on  multi-colored,  deckle-edge  pages and bound  in  stiff  pictorial
wrappers  by Loujon Press. Illustrated with etchings by Noel Rockmore.
One  of  3100 numbered copies SIGNED by the poet and dated 3-16-65  in
an    orange  oil  paint.  In  addition   this  copy  has   a   rather
uncharacteristic  abstract  ORIGINAL DRAWING by Buk in the same  paint
beneath  the signature and as a result is an uncommon issue of a still
relatively  common  book. Minor rubbing at edges. Near  Fine,  lacking
the wrap-around band.                                          $650.00
