Britain's oldest scientific institution. Volume 1 (pp. xv, 204) deals 
with Origins and Early History (1675-1835). Volume 2 (pp. xi, 135) deals 
with Recent History (1836-1975). Volume 3 (pp. xix, 178) deals with The 
Buildings and Instruments. Each volume is illustrated and is in near 
fine condition. The clear plastic wrappers are only slightly scuffed, 
else in very good condition. The slipcase shows a "ghost" from a price 
sticker and some sunning and light shelf wear, else it is in good plus, 
to very good, condition.
