copper engraved frontispiece, title-page, portrait and dedication leaf, as 
well as 30 copper engraved plates (complete). The 4 preliminary leaves closely 
trimmed at top margin. BOUND SECOND WITH: Krauss, Johann Ulrich. HISTORICHER 
BILDER BIBEL... (defective copy, lacking 1 plate). First edition. Augsburg: 
Johann Ulrich Krausse... (1698)-1700. 5 parts in 1, each with copper engraved 
frontispiece (the first mounted) and copper engraved title page. Plus 135 copper 
engraved plates (note: there are 2 different plates with the #60, but this copy 
lacks plate #1, which should be present. The first 5 plates have neat paper 
repairs at the bottom margins (minor losses) and a few other plates are repaired 
at the blank fore-margin. Both works bound together in gilt bordered calf, 
worn, nicely rebacked by Zaensdorf, with elaborately gilt decorated spine and 
burgundy calf label. Inner hinges reinforced with linen binder’s tape. A.e.g.
