August 6, 1825. One page. Signed lower right. The piece measures
approx. 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". In french. Apparently a letter of regret that
he can accept an invitation. Very good. $350.00
George William Russell (A.E.). Autographed letter signed. (Als.)
Dublin, March 4, 1926. One page to a Mr. Brown, informing him that he
gives his permission to use two of his poems but that Macmillan
controls the copyrights in the United States. He also thinks the two
poems, “The Virgin Mother” and “The Great Breath” are good examples.
The piece measures approx. 11" x 8 1/2". Very good. $125.00
Sean O’Faolain. Autographed letter signed. (Als.) No date (1971). One
page on his stationary to a Mr. Cook, instructing him to send books he
wishes O’Faolain to sign. The piece measures approx. 4 /12" x 7". Very
good. and
Sean O’Faolain. Autographed letter signed. (Als.) February 6, 1971.
One page integral air mail stationary to a Mr. Cook, of Livingston,
NJ, informing him that he has not yet sent his books that he has
autographed. O’Faolain relates that he has been ill and will send them
directly. The piece measures approx. 11" x 6 3/4". It is addressed by
the author as well. Very good. The pair $350.00
