4to. 4 parts in 1, each with its own title page. 
(24),259,(9);(8),270,(2);(8),274,(2);(8),242,(2)pp. Each part ends with a full-page woodcut printer's device 
(final colophon is dated 1607). Title pages of parts 1 & 3, printed in red & 
black. Illustrated with a full-page armorial woodcut and a full-page woodcut 
portrait of the author. Cont. vellum, a bit soiled, spine expertly repaired, 
later endpapers. Occasional minor text soiling, and old water stain at top corner 
of main title.     $3,000.00 (trade discount allowed)
This work by Wittich (1537-1598?), the city physician at Arnstadt, includes 
prescriptions for various ailments, as well as discussions of child birth and 
diseases of women and children, wounds, fractures, scurvy, syphilis and the 
Plague. OCLC records only 1 copy. Not in the NLM collection or The Wellcome 
Library.
