[Rarebooks] FS: Two Gehenna Press Broadsides

 From our HOLIDAY 2008 Catalogue of 150 NEW ARRIVALS now posted on our 
web site.  Included are beautifully bound classics, signed books, fine 
press titles, poetry, illustrated books, and the unusual.

1.  MacDIARMID,  Hugh. THE EEMIS STANE. Northampton, MA:  The  Gehenna
Press  1967. First Edition. Broadside (13-1/2" x 23") illustrated with
a  portrait  of MacDiarmid drawn by Leonard Baskin and cut on wood  by
Takeshi  Takahara with the poem printed in red. Of a total edition  of
500  copies,  this  is  one of 450 copies  on  Nideggen  paper  issued
unsigned.  This  particular  copy however is SIGNED  by  Baskin.  Fine

2.  MacLEISH, Archibald. A VOYAGE TO THE MOON. [Northampton, MA]:  The
Gehenna  Press  1969.  First  Edition. Broadside  (9-1/2"  x  19")  of
MacLeish's  poem, not illustrated, printed at the Gehenna Press in  an
edition  of 850 copies, though many were destroyed by water damage  at
the  press. Issued unsigned. This particular copy however is SIGNED by
Leonard Baskin. Fine, matted ready to frame.                   $150.00
