Allen, Hervey, et al. "RESIDENCE IN BERMUDA" Bermuda Trade Development
Board: 1936. #268 of 2000 numbered copies.

A wonderful pictorial and textual romp around Bermuda as it existed just
before the Second World War. Illustrated with grand full-page photographs
by David Knudsen, F.S. Lincoln, and Walter Rutherford, and watercolors by
Adolf Treidler, who was noted for his posters during both World Wars, his
advertisements for Pierce-Arrow, and his posters for the Bermuda Tourist
Board in the 1930s. The text also includes “An Architect’s View of
Bermuda” by Ralph Adams Cram and “As a Landscape Architect Sees Bermuda”
by Frederick Law Olmstead.

Hardcover. 12”x15”, 94 pages, illustrated throughout in b/w and color.
Publisher’s ocean-blue and silver covers (What? No pink??). Covers with
light wear, tips lightly bumped, a small ding in the spine near the base
has ripped but not removed the silver cloth. Contents with a very minor,
light thumb smudge her and there, but overall nice and clean. [31467]
