1]  EVANS, OLIVER.  THE YOUNG MILL-WRIGHT & MILLER'S GUIDE . . . EMBELLISHED WITH 25 PLATES. FOURTH EDITION.  Philadelphia: M. Carey & Son, 1821.Approx. 8 1/2 X 5 inches, old calf, some edge rubbing, joints cracked but firm, remains of old college bookplate, top and bottom edges stamped, small strip of paper pasted to end paper, old blind-stamp.  While the title page calls for 25 plates, this has 26 (several folding); one is repaired, with no loss.  The plates are more or less foxed, the text clean.  374 pages.

2]  EVANS.  THE YOUNG MILL-WRIGHT AND MILLER'S GUIDE; ILLUSTRATED BY 28 DESCRIPTIVE PLATES. THE NINTH EDITION, WITH ADDITIONS AND CORRECTIONS; BY THOMAS P. JONES . . . PROFESSOR OF MECHANICS . . . AND A DESCRIPTION OF AN IMPROVED MERCHANT FLOUR-MILL, WITH ENGRAVINGS. BY C. & O. EVANS, ENGINEERS. 
Philadelphia: Carey Lea & Blanchard, 1836.  Approx. 9 X 5 inches, rebound in sturdy black cloth, new added end papers, 392 pages, a few pages and the 28 plates (several folding) somewhat  stained and soiled, some rippling, but a good, complete copy.  Name of Alexander Thomson, Morris-ville, [New Jersey ?], 1838, on front and rear end papers.
