to 550 numbered sets, signed by Ingleton on the limitation leaf, and bound by 
Hunter and Foulis in quarter brown morocco, gilt, over pictorial navy cloth 
stamped in gilt. A.e.g.   Both volumes are housed in publisher’s matching cloth

Matthew Flinders (1774-1814) was one of the most celebrated chart makers of 
his age and wrote the seminal work on Australian exploration, “A Voyage to 
Terra Australis.” This set was originally published at $890 in 1986!
