cm). Quarter cloth over paper-covered boards, brown morocco spine 
label lettered in gilt. First edition. From the library of Karl Kup, 
former Curator of the Spencer Collection and keeper of prints, New 
York Public Library, with his small armorial bookplate and his 
occasional pencil annotations. Covers from the earliest period to 
modern times, plus suggestions for collectors, lists of old book 
shops in Japan, index, glossary. and bibliography. Boards rubbed, 
corners worn, small tears to heel of spine, thin tear to upper rear 
joint, small bookplate on front pastedown, two Japanese chop marks to 
half-title and margin of first text page, small institutional stamp 
on title page, contents clean, plates bright. A very good copy.

sales tax or forward a tax id number. Libraries and Institutions can 
be billed. Trade allowance. Postage for Domestic orders is $4.00 for 
the first book and $1.50 for each additional volume. Books are 
normally shipped Media Mail. For international orders, postage is 
calculated individually. All books may be returned in original 
condition for any reason within two weeks with prior notification.
