One of many fine sets we will be exhibiting at the ABAA New York Book 
Fair, April 4 - 6, at the Park Avenue Armory at 67th St.  We will be 
bringing many currently uncatalogued leather sets in addition to our 
usual wares.  Our book fair catalogue will be posted on our home page

EMERSON, Ralph Waldo.      THE COMPLETE WORKS OF RALPH WALDO  EMERSON.
Boston  &  New  York:  Houghton Mifflin (1903).  The  Concord  Edition
consisting  of  twelve  small  octavo  (5"  x  7-1/2")  volumes,  each
illustrated with  photogravures.  Attractively bound in  1/2  burgundy
morocco    with  matching  corners  and   marbled  paper   sides   and
gilt-decorated and lettered spines.   The first volume has a  bump  to
one  corner and both joints professionally repaired.  Old dampstaining
to  the lower portions of some of the pages in the last three  volumes
but   not  very  disconcerting.   Near  Fine  and  a  handsome   shelf
appearance.                                                   $1500.00
