One of a number of better signed books that will be included in our
Spring New York Book Fair Catalogue to be posted on our website next
week. We will be exhibiting at the ABAA New York Book Fair, April 4 -
6, at the Park Avenue Armory at 67th St. We will also be bringing a
variety of items including leather sets, hand-colored plate books, early
printed books, etc. Come visit us in booth E-17.

KING, Martin Luther. STRIDE TOWARD FREEDOM. New York: Harper &
Brothers (1958). The true First Edition of Martin
Luther King's first book. SIGNED on the diagonal by the author on the
first blank with the notation "Best Wishes." There are quite a few
King books offered that are secretarially signed and a lesser number
that have an ink-stamped signature, and alas a seemingly endless
supply of copies with an often poorly forged signature, but those
that are authentically signed are few and far between. Dustwrapper
with light chipping to the spine tips and minor edgewear and soiling.
Near Fine in a Very Good dustwrapper. $7500.00
