"SOUVENIR DE CAUTERETS"  [France, probably ca. 1880]. A handsome folio
album with 12 mounted albumen views of this picturesque town in the
Pyrenees, not far from the Spanish border. Nestled in a river valley
between high mountains, this must have been a popular resort town.
Hardcover. 17.5"x13", 12 mounted albumen prints on printed mounts.
Publisher’s red pebbled cloth with gilt titles and rules. Marbled
endpapers. Covers moderately soiled, some rubbing. Contents fine. [32200]
