plates. Edition limited to 350 copies printed for the Caxton Club by Bruce 
Rogers at the Press of William Edwin Rudge. Vellum spine stamped in gilt, natural 
mottling, over marbled boards. Plain paper dust wrapper. Housed in publisher’s 
cardboard slipcase (lightly soiled with minor splits at edges) with paper 
spine label. Original prospectus laid in. This copy warmly inscribed and signed by 
Bruce Rogers to Henry M. Wolf, a member of the Caxton Club’s committee on 
publications.     $375.00 (trade discount allowed)
BR 30, #23. The author, Sir Frederick G. Kenyon, was Director and Principal 
Librarian of the British Museum.
