The first edition of this important account of the conquest of Mexico by Cortez, written by Spain?s “Official Chronicler of the Indies,” Antonio de Solis (1610-1686). It is considered to be “a Spanish prose classic” (11th edition Britannica) and has been extensively reprinted and translated.
