By George Wharton James. Printed in Pasadena for the author in 1903. 3rd
edition, revised & enlarged.

An early edition of this classic work on Native American baskets and how
they were made. James had written several other books about the southwest
and native Americans of the region, and was editor of ‘The Basket’.
Hardcover. 6.5”x9.5”, 231 + 176 pages, plus advertisements. Black & white
and line illustrations, publisher’s ribbed and gilt covers. Covers a bit
worn, some spotting to the spine (see photo), light rubbing. Light
interior soil, hinges just a bit shaken.  $85.00
