MOORE, Marianne. PREDILECTIONS. New York: Viking 1955. Her first
book of prose, a collection of 22 literary essays. Second Printing
but INSCRIBED on the half title page "For Ben Sackheim" and SIGNED by
the poet with an interesting and acknowledged unnecessary correction
by Moore on page 76. Laid in is a review photograph (5" x 7") of
Moore for the book that is also INSCRIBED and SIGNED by her for the
same recipient. It is the famous photo of her in her trademark hat
holding gloves by George Platt-Lynes featured on the cover of A
MARIANNE MOORE READER. Signed photographs of Moore are quite
uncommon. Fine in close to Fine dustwrapper. $350.00
