Inscribed, Hamburg, 1935, by Magdalena Coh[e?]n to the American physician George W. Wagoner (President of the Medical Soc. of Pa., &c.) "Original Size" is written on the title page. (25 reproductions of sketches on the Eastern Front, showing cavalry, &c. Matthes studied art in Germany and Paris.  He died in the German Army in 1918.
