Queen Elizabeth's reign. Bullinger defends Elizabeth and condemns the Pope. A
Swiss reformer and close friend of Zwingli, Bullinger (1504-1575) was an
esteemed author in England where dozens of his works were printed in the 16th
century. The last copy to be sold at auction was in 1979. STC 4043.
