An important set presenting accounts of travel and exploration, and 
historical narratives of Baja California. Most of the volumes (1-43) were finely 
printed by Grant Dahlstrom at the Castle Press and bound by Bela Blau. Two of 
the volumes were jointly published by the LA County Natural History Museum. 
The series was under the editorship of Glen Dawson and Edwin H. Carpenter of 
the Huntington Library. A complete list of titles is available upon 
request.
