The title page in this copy has a manuscript change to the date "1798" to 
the correct year, 1797. The very rare (1 copy in OCLC) constitution of the 
short-lived Ligurian Republic, the independent state from 1798 to 1805; it was 
also known as the Republic of Genoa.
