A listing on eBay which started last night:

1892_PERSIA QUESTION_IRAN_Lord CURZON_2v_1stE_ARMENIAN

PERSIA and the Persian Question by Hon. George N. CURZON. Published in London by Longmans, Green & Co, 1892. First Edition. 2volumes: xxiv + 640 pages and xii + 654 pages. Original ¾ Leather binding. This edition is scarce and is a highly desired addition to any library on Iran and the Midle East. The cachet of this particular set is enhanced by the fact it has the ownership stamps, on the free-front endpapers of both volumes, of Armenian dealer S. Kent Costikyan.
Large map in the back of volume 1 is linen backed and looks like it has barely even been opened. Some light scattered foxing. Complete with black and white illustrations and map - including linen-backed map at rear of volume 1. Some light, scattered foxing. There is wear to the spine edges which I have not applied dressing upon. The rear endpaper on Vol.2 is cracked. The hinges are tight and secure. No bookplates, writings, inscriptions, repairs, etc. Reading the descriptions of what is available online this is perhaps the finest copy available. It is not rebound and it is not ex-library.
