[Baton Rouge]: [Army and Navy Publishing Company of Louisiana], [1945?]. 
Full cloth, Folio, 138 pages, Black & White photographs. Good.
      Class book of the this special Navy training school in Shelton, 
Virginia, which trained naval officers and men to serve aboard merchant 
ships to defend them against enemy action in World War II. Lots of 
photographs, individual portraits, etc. Bound in dark blue leather-textured 
cloth over boards with gilt-stamped lettering to upper board. Circular paper 
service emblem is laid onto upper board and ringed with blindstamped border. 
Minor extremity wear including shallow wrinkles and rubs to spine ends and 
bumps to fore corners. Paper emblem on upper board has a few spots of 
foxing. Endpapers are browned, there is light foxing to first printed page. 
First leaf is halfway detached along inner margin, but still holding.......
