One of 150 interesting items included in our HOLIDAY 2008 Catalogue now
posted on our web site. Included are beautifully bound classics, signed
books, fine press titles, poetry, illustrated books, and the unusual. In
about a week we will post our new list which contains archives and
scarce material by three American writers: Thomas Merton, John
Steinbeck, and Thornton Wilder.

MILNE, A. A. THE HOUSE AT POOH CORNER. New York: E. P. Dutton &
Company (1928). First Edition. First American Edition, Large Paper

Illustrated by Ernest Shepard. This copy has definite signs of use,
including a child practicing writing her name on the front pastedown
and endpaper, a few roughly opened pages, several pages with some
light pencil coloring, and one page with a few dark stains. Still, it
is complete, generally clean, and an excellent value. Good, solid
copy, lacking the dustwrapper and box. $1500.00
