Title page with woodcut seal of United States of America War Office. Bound in 
cont. 1/2 brown morocco, gilt, over pebbled cloth. This copy inscribed twice by 
John J. Pershing, once on the front pastedown, presumably around the date of 
publication, and again at the bottom of the final leaf of text, both times to 
Sergeant Joseph H. Garsson. The second signature is dated 1942. A few of the 
leaves and plates with closed tears that have been neatly repaired.     $650.00
