A collection of notes and information about Pratt [1734-1805], a
Philadelphia portrait painter. Includes notes on the character and style
of Pratt’s work, a chronology of his life, Pratt’s own autobiographical
notes, genealogical notes on the Pratt family, period advertisements by
and about Pratt, a descriptive catalog of Pratt paintings, and
descriptions of unlocated works and doubtful attributions. Karpel H451.
Hardcover. 6.5”x9.5”, x + 103 pages, plus 44 black & white plates. Covers
with a little very light spotting, else in nice, clean condition with
tight hinges. $150.00
