[Rarebooks] FS: Signed First Edition of Robert Frost's first book with the first stanza of the last poem in Frost's hand

 From our newly posted internet catalog of 118 Robert Frost items 
including approximately 75 SIGNED items of which approximately 20 
contain lines of poetry, in some cases complete stanzas or poems, in the 
hand of Frost.

FROST,  Robert.  A BOY'S WILL. New York: Henry  Holt  1915.  First
Edition.  Second State of Frost's first book with correct spelling  on
page  14.  This copy is SIGNED by the poet on the front  endpaper  and
dated  June  1926. Frost has also written out the first stanza of  the
last  poem in the book, "Reluctance": "Out through the fields and  the
woods/And  over  the walls I have wended/I have climbed the  hills  of
view/And  looked at the world and descended/I have come by the highway
home/And  lo it is ended." The tips of the spine are lightly worn with
the  gilt  lettering  on  the spine faded but  readable.  Fine,  early
example  of a Frost manuscript in a book. Very Good or better, lacking
the dustwrapper, as customary.                                $3500.00
