nearly 2,000 pages, black and white plates. Very good.
      Well illustrated life of the famous 19th century abolitionist, editor 
of the The Liberator, and co-founder of the American Anti-Slavery Society. 
Bound in dark blue cloth over boards with gilt-stamped spine titles, dark 
blue endpapers, and tissue-guarded frontispieces. Top edges gilt. Bindings 
show some minor extremity rubs, scattered silverfishing to fore edges, and 
volume III has a repaired .25" hole in cloth on spine....... $100.00
