Cornell Woolrich: Black Alibi. NY: Simon and Schuster, 1942. FIRST  
EDITION. Hardcover 8vo, black cloth with gilt-stamped spine titles, in  
dustjacket. A solid, handsome example of an uncommon early work by  
this master of the dark side, the third in his "Black" series and the  
source of the 1943 cult classic The Leopard Man, directed by Jacques  
Tourneur. Book is Very Good — bumps to the spine ends, some rubbing to  
the gilt titles, mild toning to the edges of the text block, otherwise  
clean and sharp — in an about Very Good dustjacket...
