Editor]... Paris: M. Vascosani. 1542. 4to. (12),320pp. Cont. vellum, soiled and 
chipped. Title and final leaf with some small worm holes (no text loss). Title &
 preliminaries with some soiling. In this copy the first book ("Liber I") is 
heavily annotated by a contemporary hand. A worn but good copy.     $450.00

First edition edited by Strebee (or Strebaeus) of the 8 "books" of Aritotle's 
POLITICA (it was reprinted in 1549, 1550 and 1554). There appear to be two 
issues of this edition, one the same as our copy, and another with an additional 
56 pages of text added at the end. See the OCLC records. BL French STC p. 29.
