EISENHOWER, Dwight. THE WHITE HOUSE YEARS. WAGING PEACE 1956-1961.
Inscribed  to  his  Brother. Garden City: Doubleday  &  Company,  Inc.
1965.  First  Edition.  Illustrated   with  photographs.  The  Limited
Edition  but  without the statement of limitation on the verso of  the
half-title  page  and without the signed page tipped in.  Rather  this
copy  has  an Eisenhower Farm bookplate noting the title of  the  book
and  the publication date: 14 October 1965. The bookplate is pasted on
the  half-title  page with the printed dedication "For Edgar"  and  is
INSCRIBED    AND  SIGNED  by   the  author:   Devotedly/Ike   E./Merry
Christmas."  Edgar  was  Dwight's  elder brother  and  was  much  more
conservative  in  his  viewpoints. Tellingly, the book appears  to  be
unread.  Wonderful  Association Copy. Fine in glassine  and  slipcase.
