black with an engraved vignette. Cont. vellum with blind ruled compartments 
with 4 gilt acorn ornaments in the central compartment, and with a large

See Dibdin, GREEK & LATIN CLASSICS, Volume I, p. 211, calling this edition 
"emphatically and justly called the Editio Optima of the author." The 
"Octavius" by Minucius Felix, written in the third century, has been called "the
