1742. 28,(2),338pp. Index. Royal woodcut device on title. BOUND WITH: [10 later 
"Acts" published from 25 May 1743 to 28 May 1746]. (339)-374pp. Cont. calf, 
rubbed, head of spine with small chips and hinges with small (1") splits. A 
few small paper flaws (holes and tears at fore-edge) that touch on a few 
letters but do not compromise the readability. Preliminary blanks almost 
loose.     $1,500.00 
With the contemporary ownership signature of Jeremiah Powell, a leading 
figure in Massachusetts in colonial times and during the Revolutionary War. He 
was President of the Council of Massachusetts. Evans 5002 and 5003, plus 
numerous other numbers (additions).
