KNOTS.
Garden City: Doubleday & Company, Inc., (1944). Full cloth, Quarto, xii, 620 
pages, black & white photographs, drawings. Near Fine in a Very Good Dust 
Jacket, Jacket in Mylar protector.
      Comprehensive reference to every practical knot, showing what it looks 
like, who uses it, how to tie it, and where it came from. Illustrated with 
over 7,000 drawings representing over 3,900 knots. Bound in dark blue cloth 
over boards with spine titled in gilt, illustrated endpapers. Minor rubs to 
spine ends, rear free endpaper has two small spots of adhesion damage. 
Jacket has shallow edge wrinkles and rubbing at spine ends, and a bit of 
dampstaining to rear flap. An attractive copy....... $50.00
