Harwood's excellent scholarship and talented writing make sense of 150 years 
of the often entangled history of probably the most colorful section of 
railroad in the country. Well illustrated with historic photographs, many 
not previously published. Fully indexed with bibliography and appendices. 
Bound in dark blue cloth over boards with gilt-stamped spine and upper 
board, endpaper maps. Shallow bumps and light wear to extremities, browning 
to textblock edges. Jacket shows a few edge wrinkles and rubs....... $75.00
