DALI -- Biblia Sacra Vulgatae Editionis. Imaginibus Salvatoris Dali 
exornata. Milan: Rizzoli, 1967-1969.


The Biblia Sacra suite consists of 105 color mixed-technique 
lithographs after 105 watercolor paintings created by Dali between 
1963 and 1964. Each Biblia Sacra was comprised of five volumes, bound 
in richly tooled leather, containing the text of the Bible along with 
the 105 lithographs.
Three editions were created as follows:
Ad Personam - 99 Bibles personalized for prominent individuals by subscription
Magni Luxus - 199 "Deluxe" Bibles
Luxus - 1499 Bibles
This is the copy 262 od 1499 of the Luxus edition

5 volumes in-folio (485 x 365 mm). 105 planches en couleurs 
reproduisant des aquarelles de Salvador Dali, chacune avec sa 
serpente legendee. Veau brun de l'editeur, dos a nerfs, doublures de 
moire creme, tetes dorees, etuis d'editeur ).

Exemplaire no 262 des 1499 du tirage "Luxus", imprime sur papier 
filigrane "Dali". Importante edition, imprimee par Rizzoli avec les 
caracteres d'Alde l'ancien. BEL EXEMPLAIRE. Michler-Lopsinger 1600.
