linen. For her favorite poem, originally published in I SHALL NOT BE
MOVED, Angelou chose the internationally acclaimed African-American
printmaker John Biggers who contributes five ORIGINAL LITHOGRAPHS. Copy
#40 of only 400 numbered copies SIGNED by both the author and the artist
on the colophon page, this is one of the largest-format books (17-3/4" x
22") ever issued by the club. It is bound by hand with the linen dyed
the hue of red Georgia clay. The unusual appearance of the hand-made
paper used for the text is the result of a special formula composed of
rags and cotton by Dan Keleher at the Wild Carrot Press created for this
edition. Fine in a Fine clamshell box. $2,500.00
