foxing to endpapers, slight discolouration of the 
cloth near the fore-edge of the front panel, a 
very good, clean copy, sound and attractive. ¶ 
The story of young Kimball O'Hara, a beggar in 
Lahore, India, who befriends a Tibetan Lama and 
is subsequently lured into playing a role in 'The 
Great Game', the political conflict between 
Russia and Britain in Central Asia in the late 
19th Century. Considered by many to be Kipling's
