black and with a large woodcut device. Cont. vellum with a blind tooled central 
ornament on both covers. Ex-library copy with call numbers at foot of spine, 
library bookplate (marked "withdrawn") and acquisition number stamped at 
the bottom of the third leaf. Title page without markings. Front hinge 
starting to crack, but cords perfectly sound.     $300.00 (trade discount allowed)
This is the chief work of the important Dutch theologian Witsius. It was 
first printed in 1677.
