1.  Maugham, W. Somerset. A Writer's Notebook. London: Heinemann, 1949.
Reprint. ISBN: B00155WZTS. 349 pp. Signed by the author on the title page.
Typed letter with his compliments laid in.  Also a gift inscription
(non-authorial) to a former owner. Dust jacket is soiled and worn. Cloth is
worn away at the very top of the spine.  Book Club edition. Some foxing to
the prelims. Otherwise clean and tight. 367 pages. Hardcover. Very good.

2.  Maugham, W. Somerset. Cakes and Ale or the Skeleton in the Cupboard.
London: Heinemann, 1953. Limited ed. ISBN: B000KDUR96. Number 207 of 1000
copies. Signed by the author and  the artist, Graham Sutherland who
contributed an original lithograph and decorations. Blue and cream leather
slightly soiled. Interior is very clean and tight. This edition was
published with four pages of facsimile reproductions from the original
manuscript. Slipcase is worn at the extremities. 255 pages.   Hardcover.

3.  Maugham, W. Somerset. Four Letters and a Signed Photograph. 1958. ISBN:
B000KDUR96. Four A.L.s. from 1955 through 1958. Each is a short note
expressing thanks for birthday greetings received. The recipient is Jeffrey
Atterton the British jazz writer and literary enthusiast. Original envelopes
included. Also a 4" x 6" black-and-white photo of Maugham inscribed to
Atterton and signed.  Also an invitation to Atterton to an 80th birthday
celebration and exhibition of Maugham's books and manuscripts in London in
