Small octavos, later cloth, (similar but not matching), first part with both wrappers bound in, 2nd part with front wrapper bound in (both front wrappers have marginal soiling.) OCLC locates only 4 copies of the first part in the US & only 3 copies of the 2nd in the US. Only the Bibliotheque Nationale is cited for Europe. This 2-part novel praising and promoting the agrarian life has been a perennial favorite in Canada since its publication, and is a landmark in French-Canadian literature.  $150.00
