Edition. Quarto (7-1/2" x 10") bound in contemporary morocco-backed 
boards. Illustrated with fifty delicately hand-colored engraved plates. 
This is the eighth volume from Bertuch's illustrated encyclopedia for 
children: BILDERBUCH FÜR KINDER. With title pages and text in four 
languages: Latin, German, Hungarian, and French. Plates primarily depict 
plants and birds but also includes animals, shells, etc. Two of the most 
interesting multi-figure plates depict monkeys. Mild aging to text but 
very clean. Near Fine. 		$850.00
