This long broken run includes vols. 1-6, 8-12, 14-17, 20, and 23.  Vols. 
2, 3, 5, 8-12, and 16 are hardcover.  The rest are paperbound.  Vol. 1 
was published by its editor, Francelia Butler, in 1972.  The next 
several volumes were distributed by Temple University Press; thereafter 
by Yale University Press.  The early volumes are hard to find.  Hundreds 
of scholarly essays by specialists on all aspects of children's books.  
A key reference!
