Ovid. LE TRASFORMATIONI. In Questa Sesta Impressione da lui in Molti Luoghi 
Ampliate... Venice: Gabriel Giolito de Ferrari. 1561. 4to. (12),320pp. 
Double column text. Title within an elaborate woodcut border. Illustrated with a 
half-page woodcut world map (which includes "Nueva Hispania") on p. 3, and 
84 large text woodcuts, each with side borders. Bound in 19th century full 
brown morocco, gilt spine, a bit rubbed. With the woodcut bookplate of the 
British publisher R. Spence, ca. 1780-1820. Some light text soiling, a number 
of leaves in the middle portion of the text have a small worm hole at the 
lower blank margin repaired (filled-in). On a few leaves this repair touches 
one or two words of the text.     $2,000.00 (trade discount allowed)

edition which contains the final revisions and corrections by Dolce. See
