a bright red, in a nice clean dust jacket, price corner ($5.00)
intact, hint of fraying to bottom of spine (a hint!), The only major

4...... WHITMAN, Walt. THE HALF-BREED And Other Stories by Walt
Whitman. Now First Collected by Thomas Ollive Mabbott. Woodcuts by
Allen Lewis. New York: Columbia University Press. 1927. First
edition. Small quarto, original patterned paper covered boards, cloth
spine with printed title label. 129 pp. Nicely printed & bound, with
gorgeous woodcuts throughout. Cover title reads: Short Stories by
Walt Whitman. A near fine copy. The colophon states that there were

which we see on-line are misdescribed as part of the limited edition
of 155, but they aren't. $75.00
