<>We are pleased to offer the following artists book exhibition
catalogue, which is a scarce document of the burgeoning artists book
movement in the 1980s. It is not listed on our online sites.

<>Artists' Library / Terminal NY 1983. Curated by Paula Beardell with
Norman Colp and Carol Bundy. Brooklyn, 1983. Number 28 of 125
copies. $150 (trade discount) + s/h

This show was part of the Terminal New York Show, held in the old
Brooklyn Army Terminal. "The Artists' Library has on exhibition 63
books, unique, edition, and sculptural, by 29 book artists. This
catalogue, rather than documenting the show, is a collection of
specifically designed pages by the book artists in the Artists'
Library." In other words, these art works are original and unique to
this book, which was acquired at the time of the show.

[29] leaves, some folding. Chiefly illustrations, most black and
white, which are reproduced by xerography, woodcut, rubber stamp, and
other media. The 29 artists include Hedi Kyle, Katherine Bloom, Conrad
Gleber, Barbara Mauriello, Louise Neaderland, etc. Softcover, fastened
with screw posts. Covers lightly shelf-soiled. Lacks the back pocket,
and the list of artists, addenda, and errata, which the Museum of Modern
Art and the Brooklyn Museum of Art describe in their copies. These are
the only two locations listed in WorldCat.
